In the earlier days, there were no tools available to construct web pages and every thing had to be designed using HTML programming. However applications like Adobe Dreamweaver have made this task extremely easy.

Advantages of using Dreamweaver

Using the traditional programming approach instead of a design tool is a very time consuming job and most of all the instructions have to be given manually. Secondly, it is hard for professionals to use this approach as most of the designers are not very good at programming. Dreamweaver makes web page construction as easy as eating peanuts. The interface is very user friendly and all the options are available in the toolbar menu.

The Layer Option

Alignment is very important option in web designing and at times it is hard to align an object correctly. However Dreamweaver provides a layer option with the help of which both image and text can be placed at any position on the web page. The user simply has to select the layer option and drag it on the web page. The size of the layer depends on the requirement of the user. A larger image or text statement requires a larger layer and the dimensions can be set accordingly. A layer is similar to an empty box and an image or text statement can be placed in it as soon as the cursor blinks. It can be dragged to any part of the design palette by just moving the mouse.

The Color Palette

Adobe Dreamweaver offers a design palette with a large number of color options. The user can either use the default color available or make his composition. To make his composition, a user can select up to twelve color options and the merged composition is shown to the user. For instance, if the user selects ten red shades and two white shades then a light red composition is shown to the user.
