Nowadays, software applications provide convenient user interface. Hence it is not that hard for a computer user who is not a designing professional to make these animations.

The Twining Effect

Twining is an option used to move an object from one point on the design palette to the other. The two main types of twines are motion twine and shape twine. Shape twine expands or contacts an object while motion twine changes the location of the object. Let’s consider the example of a square that needs to be moved. The first step is to open the timeline window and then a frame in inserted in the first slot. After that the object is selected and a second frame is inserted according to the desired location of the object. The second frame is selected and then the object is moved to the desired location by dragging. The user then uses the play button to check the movement of the image. The last step saves the file in the desired directory. In case of FLASH being used as the animation software, the file is saved in the SWF format. Shape twine will also be used in a way similar to motion twine. However instead of moving the object in the second frame, its shape will be change in the second frame.

Using the Loop Effect

On a number of websites, we can see that certain animation clips are being played repeatedly. Some people have the opinion that a command is given from the server to play the clip each time. However that is not the case and the clip is played repeatedly though the looping effect. By using this option can select the number of times that a clip has to be played after the page is loaded. When the “forever playing” option is selected, the clip plays repeatedly after the web page is loaded.
